Temporal Artery Duplex and EndoAVF
2.25 SDMS CMEs: 2.25 Vascular Technology. This package covers superficial temporal artery and branches as well as EndoAVF Technology. You will review the pathology of giant cell arteritis and describe the clinical presentation, proper scanning techniques, and machine optimization. You will also learn about Endo AVF dialysis including differences between traditional surgical AVF creation verses EndoAVF creation.

Andrew Bachman

Andrew is currently the NIVL Clinical Specialist for St. Luke’s University Health Network, overseeing 11 hospitals, 22 dedicated Vascular testing labs, and over 40 technologists. In addition, he is an adjunct professor for the Vascular Sonography Program at Northampton Area Community College. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in health science from Lock Haven University in 2006 and a post-graduate degree from South Hills School of Business and Technology in 2007. He is the author and co-authored of several medical research studies and has earned respect within the vascular community through his numerous lectures and training courses.
